Social Media in 2018 ✅
By Church Communications • Issue #42 • View online
What will social media look like in 2018?
I will tell you what I’m aiming for—authenticity.
I’m aiming to tell more stories. Take more pictures. Be more real. Less produced. Create more content.
Since Facebook dropped the “engagement bait” article I’ve been thinking about what we can do as churches to change from “Tag your friend if you’re thankful for them!” to actually taking photos of our friends and thanking them right then and there on our church’s page.
How can we encourage local businesses? How can we encourage our city? How can we show the radical transformation that Christ is doing in the lives of His people? How can we share those stories with people online quickly and effectively?
I’m not 100% sure yet.
But I’m excited to find out. Hope we can learn that together.
